I just got a new system installed yesterday (first aftermarket system ever), and I have a kenwood kdc-bt555u which has a bunch of subwoofer settings.

I have 1 12" pioneer dual 4 ohm woofer in a sealed box and am looking for recommendations on subwoofer settings to maximize the potential of this sub.

It seems to react to lower tones much better at current settings but I think I want it to be able to play some bass lines a little higher pitched than what it normally does. I think they have it tuned very low but I haven't touched the settings yet on my head unit, as I just discovered them in the manual.

thanks,

matticus

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too
