sub selection

try the kicker comps or comp vr's if you wanna spend the extra dough. they are a very versatile sub, and you can put them in any box, even freeair. ive got 2 comp 10's and i love them. the only difference between the vr and the normal comp, is the vr has more power handling, therefore it is louder.

good luck

well this is a difficult question to ask. how about giving us a few specs to help with a good recommendation. such as how much money to spend on each sub?? how much room you have for the box?? last but not least what kind of amp you plan on using to power them??

Look into the RE SE 12. The direct price for it is 159. All of their subs were built with SQ in mind but also have very high output. I think you would get more for you money with this sub as opposed to kicker comps or type r's.

i own a 15" inch kicker and its everything i dreamed, i'm breaking world records left and right. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif yes that RIGHTS! MUAHAHAH

i wounldnt buy sony subs ether for one u cant get dual voice coils and the box has to be as close to one cubic foot as posibble and thats hard to find un less u make ur own box i had a sony 12 red cone and it was great for a while (3 months) then it blew witch was cool cause i saw it shread apart cause my friend pit it on his 1000rms amp and it riped apart it was cool but now i have two 12 audiobahns awc12s they pump hard i got mine at a whole sale store for 210 bucks w/ a box (did i mention there dvc too)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I hate sony subs i could recommend the kicker vrs but if your looking into SQ with some SPL try the JL w6's they hit really hard while staying clean

thanks

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage
