The amp is rated at:

2 x 225 watts into 2 ohms

2 x 150 watts into 4 ohms

1 x 450 watts bridged mono into 4 ohms

"Clamp Test" Results on PE say:

175 wrms x 2 @ 4 ohms stereo

325 wrms x2 @ 2 ohms stereo

650 rms x 1 @ 4 ohm bridged

all at 13.5 volts

Looking for sub recommendations to go on this amp at 4 ohms. What do you guys think? Looking mainly for SQ. Right now, I have 2 Dayton Reference HO 10's that I could maybe sell or use one of them...or whatever. Just depends on what subs are chosen.

One aurasound force 4ohm 12"
Are those the black and white ones with the bluish-greenish Aura logo in the middle? If so, there are a couple of the 10s or 8s (I forget) in my local pawn shop and they've been there forever.

Are they pretty good?

id wait till the gcon comes out shouldnt be much longer1 gcon in 12 2.5 cubes ported to 30hz should be sweet i know im ordering two tens first chance sadly i only have the option of sealed under seat boxes somy tens will be in 1.13 cubes a piece

I thought about those and even dcons. I hear SSA makes a very nice sounding sub, but my main concern is how much SQ (transparency and flat FR) I'd lose going from the Dayton HO to say a gcon...

Yep,.. aluminum alloy cone, black raised edge concave dustcap with aqua silk screen, cast aluminum basket, 2" aluminum former high temp v/c.

Pretty nice sq drivers if you can find them, but i dont believe the produced an 8". i wouldnt pay more than 25 bucks per 10" in used condition. The vents have perforated stainless steel grills, but you can get a good look at the coil with a flashlight and steady eyes.

If your gunna change make it a good one not just HO's to Dcons or something cuz I doubt you will notice anything different...
The main change I am looking for is to do a cleaner, more custom-looking install with matching amps; not really to "upgrade" from the Daytons.

Nice, thanks man. I may grab those in the Pawn shop then and maybe try the single 10 setup with em depending on how much he will sell them to me for. I'm reading up on them right now to see what types of enclosures people have had best results with. I may just have someone design me a good one.
