Hey Guys, I need your expert advice.
I'm trying to achieve a balance of lightweight and good/great sound quality out of a 10" sub. I currently have a Pioneer TS-W2502D4 in a 0.37 cubic ft sealed enclosure, and while it's a decent sub, it's heavy as a brick. I drive a Honda S2000 which is a lightweight car, and I'm trying to get a little more lightweight sub. It would be powered by a Kenwood XR-5S amp (5th channel, 350W RMS) so nothing too crazy. I don't care about SPL, need a sub that's responsive and clean/accurate.
Any recommendations?
Rest of my equipment:
Alpine IDA-X305S H/U
Kenwood Excelon XR-5S 5 channel amp
Hertz HSK165 6.5" comps
10" 0.37 cubic ft sealed enclosure in trunk
Budget: ~$200
Thanks in advance!
