Just go with a type r if sq doesn't matter that much... don't get me wrong, ppl say the r can sound nice, but it definently gets loud... go with that, save yourself some money and call it a day.

Well I already have a 1200 wrms amp and plan to go ported so I think that would be a bit much for a type R seeing as its rated for 500 watts.

you've obviously don't know how much power the type r can take

the 12 can take 1000 easy, 1200 is fine if you know what you're doing...no bass boost, loud button, etc...

the 15 will take 1500 easy...
