sub rattle....that aright or what

alright i have a 8in rockford fosgate he2 and it has sat around for a while now it has a weird rattle to it. will this go away or does a rattle mean it is blown....let me know

If you cannot depress the diaphram of the cone then the VC has seperated.

it rattles when in use....is there some type of warranty with rockford that if you blow out their subs u get it fixed..i do not know where it was bought nor do i have a receipt

If it's in use and there is a rattle, it is more than likely an air leak.

Make sure your box is completely sealed, and seal around the sub before you place it in the box. Make sure you bolt it in using every hole available.

If it's not that it could be tinsel slap (I doubt it on an 8")

The warranty depends on when you purchased the sub

something is probably just rattling in your box....tighten up any screws u have.
