sub question

hi i was wondering if some one can help me out please. i have 2 pioneer 12's there 150 rms each. i have them powered by a power aqustiks ts 1440. its a 2 channel amp i am using both channels. i dont have the specs of the amp at this time. my question is what subs should i get that would hit harder and sound better? i have a ported box if that helps and i am looking to spend $250 shipped for both subs. i would not be able to use a sub that is square in shape(wont work with my box).so no kicker but thats what i really want.......thank you

its 300x2 4 ohms. 720x1 2 ohms. i have 2 4 ohms subs not bridged to the amp. so its 300 x 2 at 4 ohms i think hahaha
