Sub Popping?

First off, I already searched with not much luck.

Anyways to the point, yesterday I noticed only ONE of my subs making a popping noise. It can not be heard from inside the car, only when the trunk is open. Also it does not do it in sync, it is kind of random. I played a song with a solid beat and same fq. it does it every few, not in order. Also right now I have both subs hooked up to the same amp and only one does it so..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

take that sub out, look around on the spider landing and see if its become detached, or if there is anything rubbing the cone. Look for mechaincal parts of the driver and see if there is anything that might be toooo close together and perhaps even take pics of it and post it. There is only really a few places where the sub can mechincally make a popping noise, so you'll realize fast whats happening if you look close enough at it.. but please take pics if you can.

**** lol I just had it all out! I will post pics tommorows. It's not a BIG issue as long as the VC isn't burning up (which I know it isn't lol), my warrenty will cover it.

check all your connections, mainly the speaker connections. i had the same issue and it turned out the + of one of my woofers were hanging loose from the amp.
