Sub hittin weird

I just put in my phoenix gold rsd12 with a profile ap1200 and it sounds really nice. But it will hit pretty good and then every like 10 seconds hit extra hard. Does anyone know why its doin this?

I'd think your ground isn't tightened good enough, that's what happened to me recently..

My ground was loose from wangin' on tha sub.. & it was start going nuts cuz tha ground was bouncing around on tha bolt..

I just redid my ground today for my new sub. So I don't think its that. My friend used to have this problem with his old setup too and we never figured it out.

Try a different place for ground and grind it to bare metal.

I scraped the paint down to bare metal yesterday. Maybe I should find another spot.

it doesnt have to be bigger then your power wire, it should at least be the same size though

Turns out it was the rca cables. Walmart FTW. I just bought some streetwires and its doin fine now.
