Sub help please

Hey guys . Can someone please tell me how a broken voice coil in the subwoofer sounds because my subwoofer is not working well feels like it doesn't have too much power

push on sub if it move smoothly probably not a broken spider, if coil is gone u should've smelled it, put nose to box if smells like hair on fire it's the coil., pull out of box and sniff it while there check wires make sure nothing came loose..
