Sub for my LUMINATOR!!!

K well i have a POS 99 Lumina that need the crap beat out of it. Right now i just have a T1 12" on a directed 1200w amp with a box build to specs(by ME). I also have Polk 6x9's and 5.25's. It hits pretty hard but ive only had it for 3 weeks and i already feel like it is quiet. Im looking for something that sounds better than a bunch of farts but i want it loud! The subs i am looking at are,

Fi BTL

Fi BL

Fi Q

XXX

Orion hcca

Space is kindof limited so i might only be able to get a 3.5cft box in there.

O and im leaning toward the RD Alpha V.2 Because Ive heard good things about the SQ. And im looking at a t2000 to power, unless recommended otherwise.

AQ2200 is 389 dont know what your paying for RF but I bet its more. It makes its power at 1 ohm.

You just listed multiple spl subs, and sq/sql subs. You said you want something that doesnt sound like a bunch of farts so im assuming you want something sq based like the xxx or fi Q. What do you want? Also how much room do you have to work with? Whats your budget for the sub? I run 2 fi Q 18"s and they sound amazing and get very loud, but the xxx is much louder and cleaner by far. Also if you dont already have the t2000bd i would look into different amps because for the price you can the same or better quality and double the power.

I just would like a balance between both spl and sq. I heard the Alphas were very loud and still have decent sq. And skateboardkid, you are right, i was looking at paying 700 for the amp. I am not familiar with a lot of amps out there so lmk what you would suggest.

O and btw. I dont really have much of a budget. Just under 2000 would be nice. But if there are good quality amps out there for less than 700 with more power i would like to know what to look into.

It is a decent size trunk, its just hard to get boxes into it. I could fit a 15 possibly.

Hifonics BXi2608D how would that amp work? Are hifonics amps good?
