im currently running two 12" kicker L7's in a sealed box (1cu ft per) and im looking to go ported.

i was browsing eBay and seen few boxes for my specific subwoofers:

are these boxes any good? i know there not built to spec perfectly, but it sure would get louder compared to my sealed right? lmk what you think about those boxes. this is in a honda civic coupe and im not worried about trunk space, but i would like it so i wouldnt have to remove my spare/cardboard piece like i had to with the 15" vented:emb:

i would make my own, but im a complete noob at it. i know sealed shouldnt be hard, but i dont know how to tune it, measure the cubic, etc.

how much would you pay for a professional audioshop to build a ported box built to spec in my case? 3/4" mdf wood, no carpet, sub-ready

better yet, anyone in the bay area, california can do this?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

Wouldnt go with eBay boxes because I have personal experience with them. 1 of my 2 boxes cracked. It was a ported/vented 15" box for a kicker L7. It cracked and the other is still ok but it looks to be giving up any time. I only had it for two months. The actual port inside cracked.

just get someone on here to make u some plans for a box with a cut sheet and start putting it together
x2 jsut get someone to design one for your subs just give them the total amount of space you would be willing to use and they can design it and you can build it

measure twice, cut once, and if you're putting it in the trunk make sure you measure the top lip to see how big of a box will actually go in. My box lost .25cubes and had to be retuned because of it....
