Sub Displacement

Im am going to build my first box and was wondering exactly wut i need to no about sub displacement when building a box?

Am going to use moe lesters plan 3.0@35hz for a 12" L7

I'm sure he already figured that into the plan. Shouldn't be different if you're using an L7.
