Sub Delay??

Hey im new to this and this is my first system ( pioneer 980BT / JL 10W7 / JL 500/1 ) and i just got it installed recently im loving it, it sounds great! but only question is when i play a song and it starts even if the song has base my sub doesnt kick in till about 10 seconds in then it starts

So basically my question is how do i fix that? or what is it? is that just normal??

the "bass" doesnt turn on until 10 seconds into the song?

Is it always or only when you are first turning everything on? Turn on delay?

Yeah its always like that everytime i change the song and i know another guy who has the same problem but he doesnt have a clue what the problem is either

IIRC JL slash amps has a signal sensing turn on feature. Is that what you're using or are do you have a remote turn on wire going to the amp?

that's the only thing i can think of.

Uhh remember im new to this sooo i have no clue what you are talking about but i got mine done professionally soo should i ask them? but no i dont have to manually turn anything on its all automatic..

If you paid for professional installation, I would definitely take it back there and ask what's going on.

Okay so then its defintly not normal?? They messed up when installing?? cause if soo then yeah i will go back early next week

Yes take it back and show the problem to them and they will fix it. And no thats certainly not normal, maybe when you first start up your car it will take a split second for the sub, but then it should be on the whole time.
