im buying a crossfire BMF 1000d amp, and I wanted to know what sub(s) would sound good for sql 12"/15", got about 5.5ft>3 of trunk-space. have about 275.00 to spend on a sub(s).

RMS Power / 4 ohms 250W x 1

RMS Power / 2 ohms 500W x 1

RMS Power / 1 ohm 1000W x 1

underated, more like 1300-1400W @ 1ohm x 1

u cant get either with 275... maybe used. if you save a bit more... u have tons of choices... thats my first suggestion...

e12a.. i love em. you could do a L7 but thats extreme spl.

the hc would be a good choice.. i had used one before and it sounds awesome.

look into w6v2s too they are nice.

or you could do like a big shocker or dd used...

thx guys, i think ive narrowed it down now to either the RE HC 15" or the ED. I have a line on a HC for 240 shipped so i might take it.

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage
