sub cutouts too big; easy fix?

make another front baffle, carpet it and screw it over the existing hole. some silicon should be used to make it air tight. then cut a new small hole. i dont like your odds of putting a baffle in from behind
Yea, i'd do it like above.

Even if it's just like a circle baffle that's slightly larger then the subs diameter. Doesn't have to take up the whole baffle like the original.

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage

Don't forget Hoffman's Iron Law. You can have 2 of the 3: low end, efficiency/sensitivity or small enclosure size...
