sub carpet questions

Does anybody know where to buy the type of carpet used to carpet subs and kickpanels,without getting all of your money taken from you by the local stereo shop? Any and all responces will be appreciated. How do you figure out how much you need?

I try to buy mine locally.. good quality automotive grade carpet beats the cheap shit normally used.. Ebay also has carpet, and the shipping is much cheaper then parts express (for me anyway)
