SUB BOX DESIGN FOR 4 18's IN MY SUBURBAN

I'm putting 4 18" RE Audio 05 XXX's in my Suburban and I have tons of space back there to work with. I can build a wall and put them close to me or I can rear fire them, down fire them, anything really.

I'm already leaning towards them being push/pull to reduce some distortions.

I know I wanna go sealed and I can make the boxes around 5-6 cuft each.

Actually even bigger if I wanted to but, I heard any bigger won't be needed.

The only other stipulation is convenience if I need to pull one out if something goes wrong. I even considered in-capsuling the entire back end with MDF walls so the high SPL doesn't rattle the hell out of the rear panels of the vehicle forcing all the air pressure forward into the seating area and just using a rear view camera and blind spot mirrors to view behind the vehicle.

Also SQ is my first goal as I know 4 18's will fill my bloodlust for SPL just dandy, so any thoughts and advice would be awesome. I just simply can't make up my mind.

I have dual alternators and 7,000 watts of power to throw at them(1750 watts per sub). Everything on that end is figured out.

Front stage is Focal k2p 2-way with 4 anarchy mid basses handling the mid bass.

I just can't decide how I wanna design my box in the back.

This is just a daily driver. My goal is SQL. I know they will get loud (enough for me)now I just need to focus on making them sound amazing and blend well with the rest of my system. I wanna do it right during this stage because once it's built I'm gonna have to live with it. I don't wanna rebuild such a large box.

I would still port them, and tune very low... Do subs up, port back. A wall is a lot more work, but thats up to you.
Why port them? Are 4 18's in Large sealed boxes not gonna loud enough? I still want to be able to sit in the vehicle and enjoy it. Ports are great if your short on power or if all you care about is SPL but, if your serious about it sounding good you better plug them holes in your boxes.

Car Audio Myth #219: Ported boxes sound like junk.

The answer?
