You're looking at something hifonics for the amp and probably do SQ HDC3.112. Just got RA2000.1 for $200 from sonic, works great.

Id def. Go used.. 2k good used 250... Good sub used 250... Last under 500 i did... Was a hdc4 12 used... 260... And a kicker kx2500 i got around 240... WITH A SMALL BUDGET LIKE THAT ITS BEST TO GO USED... but ive done alot of budget builds too... see my sig thats under 500...

There is always AB XFL's for Sub and an AB PH4000 or AB 4480.1D.. This can be done under $500.. Might leave enough room for some Wiring.

I know how to build boxes pretty well. My max dimentions I want to use are 16 tall 20 deep 18 wide

why did you dislike the hifonics and hdc3? just asking cuz ive heard a hdc3 on a zeus 2k and a brutus... and it hits hard... even though the amps arent the greatest if you know how to use it... and what to expect they make great budget gear... and you wont find much else new for what your asking... imo id go used ...

I like the HDC3 I had one before. I hate hifonics lol. I may Just buy a new sub for 300 and a used amp for 200
