Sub & port direction

This question comes up a lot, and there's no real concrete answer for the "best" orientation. Daily/demos or SPL numbers? Are you walling?

Also, vehicles have different acoustic properties. Its hard to say without real world testing.

Will the box be permanently fixed, or would you be able to move it around? Actually testing would be the best way to find what works. Do you want it louder for you as the driver, or the passenger for demos? How about equal?

How many sub(s) and what size(s)?

If you want it loud on the passenger side, I'd put the port on the driver's side. Vice-versa for loud in driver's seat. Port in the middle for equal loudness.

I think port up top is better for daily/headrest, and port on lower side of the front for dash SPL numbers. Could be reversed. *This I am not 100% sure about*
