Yep
so im thinkin im gunna find a cvr or something cheap and an amp in the 500w range to hook up to my laptop. so heres my questions..i have a surround sound now, a logitech G51 system. it sounds good, but the bump is lacking. and if i crank the woofer more than half power it sounds like complete crap.

so, my questions. first, is it possible? i know ive heard of guys doin this before but never if they actually did it. just cut a plug off something else, strip the wires, hook it into the power terminal on the amp and plug it into the wall right? 12v = 120w of clean power correct? 120 = wall socket power?

and after i built my enclosure and all, what do i wire my amp into to get the signal? i have aux ports on the logitech woofer box, should i hook into there or how would i do it?

thanks in advance

dont be a cheap ***. just buy an old amp off of ebay and use a Y splitter to get signal to it, and run your sub off of that.

For example, I have a 1975 Pioneer home amplifier that I bought off of ebay for $30 powering a 12" Mach 5 SPL. Makes everything in the house rattle when I play COD4

So your saying I could wire my sub up to my fairly new receiver downstairs. Shit Ive got 2! Anyone need one?

Edit- I don't think its going to work after looking at the back. I have another that I cant find though
