Sub/Amp Combination on the cheap

I've been talkin to all my buddies at school and they all tell me to go the way i don't want 2 go they want me 2 go super loud n stuff. What i want is for the sound to hit good in my car, i could care less if the person next to me can hear it or not. I guess what im asking is which sub and amp combinaton would hit pretty good and sound good in the car ( i don't want super loud, just want me car to have some beat 2 it ) my budget right now is also very very low. Does anyone kno a good set of subs and amp i can get for the lowest possible $$? like i said i really don't want 2 be loud, i want the sound in the car, not everywhere. I also got this deal from crutchfield where i can buy a sony 400watt amp and it comes with 2 free xs-l1200b 12" subs for 250$ 300 with 4 gauge cables required. And i was wondering if i could go maybe even cheaper than that? Thanks for any replys

definetly stay away from sony. And stay away from crutchfield they are overpriced. For a decent beat i say u grab 1 12" Ed K. http://www.edesignaudio.com This sub is great for the money it will sound great and give the the loudness ur looking for. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3059211916&category=18796 here is an amp for 100 shipped that will be MUCH better than the sony and give u plenty of power for the sub. Total will be like 250 bucks after shipping. Then u can build ur own sealed or ported box. Wood and supplies cost like 30 bucks. Then get any cheap wiring kit from walmart.

u should try to track down a eD15k(around 120shipped) and get a profile cl-600m(about 100shipped) get the dual 4ohm sub.. this is the combo im running and i couldnt be more happy wit it. great amount of bass for the money and it is a very accurate sub.

magnum d2 has great quality but it is $270 i dont if that is 2 much for u or not
