sub advice

Hey I've been on this forum a lot just haven't done much posting. I have a 95 civic 4 door (not sure about the trunk space right off the bat) pioneer 8600 hu, pioneer comps, nothing amped up yet. Anyways I'm looking for a good sql sub for about up to 200ish, I've read about several of the big names, just don't have any experience with them. I was considering the type R as a choice, lol don't shoot me but I listened to them at best buy and they didnt sound like they had great sq, maybe it was bc it was on a p.o.s. rack that rattled all over. I'm leaning towards 1 12" or 15" in a ported box. Thanks for any suggestions, also if you can give me any lowest price you know.

ikesound.com for a 12" alpine only 124.95 to your door. but i think i bought the last one for the dual 4 ohm anyway.
