Stupid Question about Sundown SAZ 1500--How to connect subs?

Okay, I have two Sundown Z15's that I'm trying to connect to a SAZ 1500. I have the subs mounted in the box with all + connected together, and - connected together. I have one + and one - wire coming out of the sub box and I do not know how to connect them to the amp. The instructions for the amp show I should connect both +'s of the amp to the one + sub wire, and it doesn't really show where to connect the - sub wire. I know it's probably a stupid question, but where do I connect the + and - sub wires? I should probably add that the sub's are dual 2's, and I'm trying to run the amp into a .5 ohm load.

Just guessing by the fact you cant wire up your subs you shouldnt be running anything at .5 ohm
Thanks for your response.... and FYI ........I have two runs of 1/0 from my front battery (red top) to my back battery Datasafe HR500....and I've done "the big three" ........ I also asked Jacob about it and his exact words were "you should be fine". The manual that came with the amp is not very clear on how to wire one sub mono. I know the question is stupid, but I can never be too safe.

It's a monoblock amplifier so it only has one channel. There are two connections to make it easier to wire up multiple subwoofers. Simply connect the + wire to a + terminal on the amplifier and same for the - wire to a - terminal on the amplifier.

When you "bridge" an amp it means you're combining the left and right channel as one to make more power. You can't "bridge" mono subwoofer amps because it doesn't need to - it only has one channel.

It has two sets of ++ and -- speaker hookup for convenience only.

Yeah... check this link out. It shows the power handling of that tweeter. I'd just match the power no matter if you use the crossovers or not...

LOL - mine was a higher end model too - iirc deh-9300. Low mileage too, it was sitting around for year collecting dust.

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...
