it depends , does the sub need a bigger box. all the polyfill is going to do is make the sub perform as if it were in a bigger box, by slowing down the sound waves. if the sub needs 1.50 cu.ft. box and all you have is a 1.00 cu.ft. box than you need at least 50 pounds of polyfill, because you need a pound per square inch. good luck.

It doesn't work in that nature, after a cetain amount of fill the changes are actually reduced.

The correct fill % per cubic foot (not inch) is about 1.5 lbs, anything more is noted to have a degredational effect from there, as noted by Tom Nousaine in the Car Stereo Review mag... Details found here: http://integra.cyberglobe.net/caraudio/resources/fiberfill/

Thx J , I would like to see 50 lbs of fill in a 1 cuft space !! Isnt that about enough to fill the whole car ! Man walmart would be out of that sh.it for a while !
