Stuck to mainstream.. What's my best bet?

kicker is for spl, but they are very expensive compared to subs that would be a lot louder and cleaner..alpine is a great subwoofer, but needs a decent size box as well too be loud, but better all around than the kicker...just my opinion

There is so much wrong with this. A Type R will get loud and sound nice in a small enclosure. And Ive heard some really nice sounding Kickers. It all depends on your set-up.

what do ca.com think about 2512 vs type-r vs L7 in terms of spl and sq?

I have seen single R 12' flexing all kind of stuff even windshield in big sedans on youtube.. can dd 2512 really outperform the hype-r? I mean I really dont want to waste extra money and gain nothing. Please enlighten me, thanks!
