Strong battery for Sound System

Alright, I'm not sure where to post this, but whtevr. I'm only running about 2000 watts rms, but I want to add under car lights, interior lights, and an in-dash video screen. Rigth now I have just the stock battery and my lights barely dim, but I just want a stronger battery just in case. I've read many threads about the Optima batteries, but I'm not too thrilled because I've heard they die alot. So I heard about Kinetik. The one I'm looking at is the Kinetik HC 1800. I want to use this as my primary or only battery in my car because its like 50 or 60 lbs. Here's the website: http://www.kinetikaudio.com/hc1800.asp. Can anyone tell if it might be enough for my electrical system, or will I need to add other components? I really don't want to mess with the alternator.

I run an Odyssey 2150 under the hood of my truck....

I use three Kinetic 2400s i like them alot. Odyssey are also nice. NSB(north star battery) is one i hear alot about for comp. Have a friend who swears by Battcap. Personally i would buy an everstart 1000cca from walmart before optima.

OPTIMA=FTL

I run 3 Batcap 800's in a couple of my other vehicles because of size....You can fit more power in less space....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif First is a 89 CRX other is a 96 Mustang...If you know either of these vehicles you will also know the lack of usable battery space...

never had any problems with my yellow tops //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

i realize nsb, odyssey and kinetic make better batteries, but they're more expensive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

3 red tops running fine over 3yrs at work

2 yellows ran fine for 5yrs, then needed to be replaced at work

2 yellows in my truck are good as new after 2yrs

Optimas have always served me fine.

depends where you get them. also have to realize the capacity of a yellow top isnt that great as its make up has alot of wasted space. the kinetik is a full shape and has more plates for more capacity....

why wouldnt they be good for daily?

my g31 yellowtop is getting kind of old, when i go to replace it, probably with a kinitek 2400, i can leave my g34 yellowtop up front and not have any problems right?
