Strapping amps

Are you using a sub out or a rear out?Try putting the y's on the left channel and running those to one amp and the other y's on the right channel then to the other amp.Set both amps to LP and see what that does.

i think ive tried that with the same results. i will try that again tonight and see what i come up with.

What ohms are you running?When both subs are connected to one amp the impeadance will be lower then if using one amp per sub.Try wirinng the subs in a different configuration to get a lower ohm load to the amp and see if that does it.

when i run 1 amp i run it at 2 or if run 2 amps i run each at 4

Sorry logged off early last night.Anyway try wiring the subs to a lower ohm load when you run them on there own amp.That and now you are pulling twice as much power from the same electrical which could lead to clipping.Might want to add a second battery.

As for the LP there shouldn't be any effects from the line output on the amp but you may try just running those y's and splitting it to each amp individauly instead of using the amps line out.

well i cant run them at 1 ohm mono. these things are old school a/b class amps. and at 4 ohms im getting 1100 rms bridged. ive added 2 more batts so thats not an issue. but im gonna try the y adapters again just to see what i come up with...
