Strapping amps

Ok so I've never strapped amps together and before trial, error, and **** up, I'd like to find out what I need to know. I searched some but didnt really find anything.

So what Im looking for is what exactly needs to be done to two amps to be strapped. and yes the amps are strappable and are bxi2006d's if needed.

well theres the master and the slave amp, the master is to the deck

hook the slaves rca's on the input to the output on the master

hook the negitives from both amps together (8 ga prefered)

now this part i am not 100% on, but i THink its the positives from the subs to the master, and the negitive from the subs to the slaves.. or vice versa.. i forgot...

I don't think all amps need rca input on the slave amp

The BXi2006D's are not directly strappable on there own.

You will need the MLX-100 Maxx-Link.

And when you strap them you will use the positive terminals on both amps as the pos and neg leads.Master being pos and slave being neg.

let me get this right.

so I connect the master neg and slave neg together. Then I run the sub positive to the master positive then run the sub negative to slave positive??

Correct.When you purchase the maxx link it will give you directions to follow with diagrams.

ok, while we are on the subject. how would i go about running 2 zeus xi's ? y adapter or in one and out to the other? havent really looked into it... just have another amp just sitting around and might as well put it to use.
