strapping amps????

i plan on strapping 2 amps together, I have never heard of this and i havnt seen this before either. tried the search but didn't come up with definate answers.

as of now have 1 kicker L5 12", and I am suppose to be getting 2 orion HCCA-D 1200 amps, if i strap the amps then they should power the L5 good????, any feedback is good
