Hi guys,
I have come into a problem today after hooking up a second amp to run my fusion splits.
The setup:
JVC speakers in front doors- Powered Pioneer head unit
1000w Pioneer subwoofer - Powered by 600w SSL amp (I do not currently have the subwoofer RCA's plugged into the Head unit because i need and RCA splitter)
180 watt fusion splits - Powered by 250w Sony Xplod amp
When playing music I get distortion from the JVC's running off the Head Unit. This is only since installing the second amp, they used to sound great. When i set fade to front and the splits are not running there is no distortion but as soon as i slowly set the fade back the distortion gets worse. It is more so on the left side where i get the distortion. (the side i ran the RCA's)
Could the Head Unit not be grounded properly? What else could it be?
Thanks
Nick
