Strange horn install I saw years ago...

Wait till you see the horn install im doing this weekend, lulz. 8 horns, all facing the driver directly, and 4 reflecting off glass.
I wouldnt advertise that as my work if I were you, matter of fact I would be embarrassed to even say something on this forum about it.

The car is actually now in Houston and has been completely redone, again. Last I saw it, there was Kicker equipment in it.
But if they had been redone more then once when he had it, then it is very possible that was the car.
Hadn't seen it in years, last time i was in it was probably '96 or so. Earl was never satified with anything, constantly changing something. Last time i was at his place, they had gotten into import drag racing.

It seems most competitors from that era changed their cars every year.

Earl Zausmer's Beemer was an absolute work of art. Howie's Camaro, Harry's Legend, Steve's Prelude, Fukuda's blazer...man those were the good old days.

I met Fukuda once in Jersey. It was a brief visit but he was nice. No demo. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I believe Mark Eldridge pioneered the idea of mounting horns in the dash where the defrost vents would be, in effect utilizing the top dash plane and windshield as an extension of the horn mouth. IIRC, he had to cut out major sections of the firewall to accomplish this, but Im told the results were outstanding. Unfortunately I never got to hear that truck.
Mark's was actually way different as he made custom horn bodies the 2 I am talking about dropped ID horn bodies into that location.

if this is going to be a old guys thread, i'll be the first to head out of it.
Aww, come on Dan. You've still got a while before the mid-life crisis kicks in. Although, you are trying to buy a Porsche. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
