Steve Cornell is the only other Impala that I can find and of course all the build pics have been taken down.
I believe it was Earl's from Talladega, AL. His son (Barry) had a Toyota comp. truck as well.I do remember this car. Its was a pretty famous competitor but cant find any pics of the car.
I am almost tempted to say it was Earl Wills, but all the pics of his impala I have seen he had the horns under the dash so I am probably incorrect about that.
It does seem Howie Liwang helped build the car and if you ever saw his camaro, he completely built his own horn bodies into the dash so maybe its not the one I am thinking of.
But you have peaked my interest.
Earl Zausmer? That's the only Earl I recall form the 'old days'... but I dont remember where he was from. And he usually had BMW's.I believe it was Earl's from Talladega, AL. His son (Barry) had a Toyota comp. truck as well.
BMW's and B&W's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifEarl Zausmer? That's the only Earl I recall form the 'old days'... but I dont remember where he was from. And he usually had BMW's.
Earl Wills, he owned/operated Airborne Express just outside of Talladega, AL. I knew and hung out with his son, Barry, back in the '90s.Earl Zausmer? That's the only Earl I recall form the 'old days'... but I dont remember where he was from. And he usually had BMW's.

Remember the tweeter install that he had where the tweets elevated up out of the dash? They even turned to bias for driver or passenger listening position. And of course, his 15" woofer kick panel install was a classic. He hired some amazing installers.BMW's and B&W's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Thanks.
That's not a horn install, that's Public Announcement. And this is the second time this has been mentioned here... how are these installs facing the driver directly, while simultaneously reflecting off the glass? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifWait till you see the horn install im doing this weekend, lulz. 8 horns, all facing the driver directly, and 4 reflecting off glass.
The car is actually now in Houston and has been completely redone, again. Last I saw it, there was Kicker equipment in it.I believe it was Earl's from Talladega, AL. His son (Barry) had a Toyota comp. truck as well.
Edit: The horns in Earl's car were changed around a few times.
Indeed, I still have some of those issues. Incredible work in all it's phases.Remember the tweeter install that he had where the tweets elevated up out of the dash?
