Damn, then that is NOT 3G. Although if you want to get technical both the current "4G" technologies don't really meet the 4G speed specifications anyway...but I'm not complaining //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifi barely see 300kb on my verizon 3g service :/![]()
I was going to do the same with my Inspire due to AT&T throttling. However if you read all the details with ST you will notice a 2GB clause in the paperwork. If you are not blowing through data then not biggie, but it does state if you abuse it that they can cancel your phone.I just got a call from straight talk saying I use too much data they can either slow my data usage or terminate my service completely. This is the first time I've heard of this... Kinda pisses me off. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I've had a straight talk android phone for 4 months and this is the first time they've called saying this. and I dont use my phone as much as I did the first few months. Ah well, if they cut my shit off I will be pissed!
I never read it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif but it does say its in the paperwork. But all I ever do is browse the forums etc while Im at work..so guess I gotta chill out on that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifI was going to do the same with my Inspire due to AT&T throttling. I have read several people saying they have gone up to 7-8gb a month without issue....guess it's hit or missI was going to do the same with my Inspire due to AT&T throttling. the first couple of months I used my phone non-stop and downloaded apps etc... Now that I have slowed down, they call me with this BS. lol Guess since its in the paper work there is nothing that can be done though. I just never knew about it until I read this thread. Next thing I know Im getting the call. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifLove it....best phone i have ever touched! I've gotten faster, it all depends on network loads and whatnot. A retest right now just netted me 9625kbps down...but I think the real talking point is coverage and so far Verizon has some pretty amazing coverage considering I still get 4g way out in the boonies where I grew up, over an hour from any major city. That's not very good for 4g.....lol There are dudes on XDA getting that on straight talk HSPA+
Is it your main daily driver phone? Is it super wierd to hold up to your face? I can give a **** what people think about it, like yea **** it im ballin my phones bigger than your ****. Whats the cap? I have unlimited 3g on att (old iphone original) and i use it on my android and iphone (switch off sims) and i never once had a problem. I have no idea how much data i use because I have never had to lookIt's funny how I posted that and just found out that AT&T finally changed their BS throttling crap.
