Great news for people tired of high cellphone bills! Straight talk service is now available for all AT&T and Tmobile phones! $45 a month for unlimited EVERYTHING! While this was always possible by simply unlocking your phone and grabbing a straight talk sim.....now you don't even have to unlock! lol My Galaxy Note will be seeing a Straight Talk Sim card very soon! And they still use AT&T and T-Mobile towers!AND YOU GET TO KEEP YOUR NUMBER!

Awesomeness.

Gotta love straight talk! You can do everything the big name companies offer for a third of the price. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I was thinkin about ST for the Note too, but I heard they throttle you crazy and even potentially cancel your contract if u go overboard with the "unlimited" data. Not tryna post dump bcuz it's a great inexpensive alternative to other gsm carriers but I had read up on it and noticed a lot of ST customers had that problem. Just wanted to point out their services are great but if you're a heavy data user (2+ gigs per month), ST might not be the carrier to go with. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif

They need to figure out how to get the int'l or att note on t-mo!

I am going to look into this. Last Saturday I recieved a notice in the mail that T-Mobile is changing their contract conditions so they will cancel your data til the next bill cycle if you go over a given amount on "off network". The limit is 10Mb off network with a 2Gb plan. I live in a rural area where TM *****. they just have the cheapest prices. I spend most all my time on Cellular One. I average over 100Mb off network. I need to cancel my contract soon. According the contract I signed. They have the right to change term when ever they want, but if it adversily effects my bill I have 14day after recieving notice cancel or it is an understood acceptance of that change. The change takes affect in April.

My delima is the other 2 providers are ATT and Cellular One. CO just got bought out and is going to the Sprint system so the towers won't accept GSM signal. ATT is unproven because the local network was built by Dobson who turned into Cell One. Cell one change over from GSM hasn't happened yet and probably wont til April or May. ATT bought most of Cell One. There were a couple a area codes (mine) that they couldn't buy because of the lack of compition it would be buying a monopoly. Another company bought those 5 areas so the deal could go through for ATT. Now that company just sold it to a Sprint signaled provider. So what it seems like to me is...ATT get signal everywhere but home, Cell One only have signal at home.

just looked Straight Talk doesn't cover me. decision decisions. I may just get a burner phone for a couple months til the smoke clears and I figure out what contract I want.
