First flea market experience...

went to a local flea market today. First time ever. Tables and tables of junk used crap is what I expected, and thats what I saw..

I kept my eye out for car audio stuff. After 2 hours there I finally stumbled upon a car audio related booth. It was two white trash fat dudes with their equally white trash fat girl. They had a big table set up with ONE single Boss amp. The amp looked like it went through war.

I wanted to see what they were asking, but there were too many mexican looking people in the way so I couldn't.

Then, around the corner I found the real car audio booth, of course they had a bunch of sub boxes out front with irregular shaped cut-outs, 1/2" wood, and all the ****** brands you could think of, but they did have the new RF Punch Pro drivers. I asked the guy what the FR was but he didnt know. He said he sold a ton of them and stuff.

We've got one here in Tulsa every weekend. It's classic! Tables full of Boss, Pyle, Logic and Nitro (amongst others)... All priced 4 times what it's worth. Good stuff.

Oh yeah! People are hilarious. It would be actually be funny if it wasn't so sad that they try to rip people off. Ya gotta wonder if the guy with 2 15" Boss Phantoms for sale actually gets the 500 bucks he was asking. Ya know?

I used to go to a pretty big Flea market just south of Milwaukee. It wasn't THAT bad as far as fm's go. Lot's of mesican's, lot's n' lot's of mesican's..And they bring there 10 kid's with too, they are allowed to do whateverthefuck they want so it's difficult to move around.

Some booth's had quility gear, some had typical fm crap. I bought hx2's, mtx 1501d, fosgate 800.2's, Premiers ect ect from that joint. At the time it was the cheapest around. Now I just go to ebay.

I used to beable to get 100 lighters there for 3 buck's. Now THAT was a deal.

I bought from the Shortish arab. Iirc his wife(and son?) worked w/ him. Def not the best stand but he gave me the best deal's everytime I bought from him. There was 1 occasion were he tried to sell me a used Fosgate 1500bd as new though. I also bought from the nicer stand(prob the one you mentioned) when the other didn't have what I wanted.

I used to go there about 20 years ago with my dad when he would buy subs from there. Good old pyle drivers.

Great place to go to on the weekend's if you're bored and have some money burning a hole in ur pocket. I stopped going 6-7 year's ago, nice 1~ hr drive for me.

And the WSP can suck my left nut. They don't like us southern folk on 94 .
