stop rear window from rattling ?

My friend has the same truck and yea, that rear window is thin and flaps around alot...what he did was fab-up a piece of aluminum that fit onto the track it slides on that presses it closed harder and keeps pressure on it sideways, mostly out of sight and does the trick...but still rattles just a little....other than that those trucks are pretty darn solid and rattle-free

ya i know what ya mean .. they are definatley rattle free,

Before i got my new system in,

i was running 2 RF 10's and it was pretty beefy for being RF ,

and i didnt have any real vibrations or noise at all ..

Now with the new system, (audioque) i sound deadened everything except the headliner / roof ..

and really the only thing that rattles is the rear window ,

and i think i am gonna use the remainder of silicon i have to do the window inside and out ,

then maybe shim it like mentioned with some sheet metal or something ..

Thanks for ideas guys .. hope it works ..

oh and ya i did play around with it a bit by pressing it in on the bottom wiht my hand and the vibrations and rattling went away ..

SO i do need to do silicon and shims ..

need some new crayons?
yea....mine wore out:crying:

had these, but they went away in a week
