That's just crazy,one of the local shops (only one I go to here) did my big 3 years ago when they installed my system but I've pulled everything out to upgrade everything myself this time(besides big 3). As far as the comment about the battery being the best ground,that's not exactly true. check out the youtube video "Ground to the Chassis or Use Cable - Which Works Better?" tried posting the link but it wouldn't let me.

Even then, the best grounding point is still the battery terminal. Its amazing how many people don't know that a vehicleisn't actually "grounded" itself.

According to one of the local shops I compete with I am an idiot for doing the Big 3 on cars....My customer's dad was told that doing the BIG 3 ruins your electrical system...Now I know why this particular shop has NEVER had an install that could do anything above mid 130s....LMAO.....I guess I need to make a road trip in the BMW and let them dumbasses take a listen after I re-arrange some of their shit on the shelves with my 148.8 @ 43hz with my BIG 3 helping make it all happen....LMAO

I think you misunderstood what I said. A vehicle itself is not grounded, meaning without the battery the vehicle is not grounded. Proven by what happens when lightning strikes a car

Without the battery, there is no electrical circuit in need of ground, so your post is pointless....

Also, lightning can and will kill you inside a car. Lightning has enough voltage (current potential) to arc-flash and ground through ions in the air. The thing that "helps" but doesn't always save you in a car is those big round rubber things that keep it from touching the earth.

my rear battery is parallel to the front with two runs. the front battery is GROUNDED(Hello alternator!), to the block. Then, if course, a run from the front battery + to the alt. Big 2, ftw. Lol
