But it would create a whole new industry. Look at how much industries like tobacco and alcohol are worth. The positives of something like this would outweigh the negatives of a couple hundred people losing their jobs due to random drug testing. They signed the contract with their company when they got hired. They knew the consequences. Not to mention, it would be especially good for the economy because it would be a domestic product as there is really nowhere to import it from legally, and I about imagine the US would be a low cost producer of marijuana among developed nations already having an ideal climate for marijuana growth.I think they could make money off of it, I had to debate on the legalization of drugs in class and I had a whole system planned out, I honestly don't know why the gov wont legalize it. I guess it might put a lot of people out of jobs if drugs became legalize, but they could at least legalize weed and keep the other one's legal, it would be a start.
