saw them at DAR constitution hall in DC earlier in the week, and also at pier six pavillion in baltimore last summer. good stuff, they need a better guy doing the mix though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

fyi, petrucci was ****in SPOT on. a ton more soloing then i've ever seen him do, and stuff i've never heard...get ready for a good show.

I like petrucci but the guy they have as a vocalist sounds horrible imho. Hope it's a lot of fun though dude.

Yeah, the other bands that played were Three, Between the Buried and Me, and Opeth.

I never heard any of them before the show... Three was pretty good, but the constant screaming of the other 2 bands made it pretty annoying. After a while of not being able to understand a single word, it gets kind of boring watching someone just scream. The instrumental part of them were good though... Just very picky on the bands that I like that scream.

Dream Theater was insane though.... Badass show.

man what i would have done to see that man, i listen to dream theatre, between the buried and me, and opeth quite a bit. only song i like by 3 is "queen"

opeth is amazing.
