Stock Sub & Amp w/ 9887

I will be replacing my factory head unit in my 2007 Ford Explorer with an Alpine 9887. My truck also has a factory sub and amp that I will be replacing but not right away - one upgrade at a time.

I am curious to know what I will need to do in order to use the the stock sub and amp with my new deck. Will I need a different harness or adapter? If so could you point me to one that would work?

you need a building to install it didnt you know?!?!

But, that adapter you showed will work fine. I don't know if you need the one with the module though, all the ones I have installed just needed the two harnesses. Here is a link:
