Stock HU adding LOC and EQ question

hey everyone been a while since ive been on here i have a bunch of equipment from my old set up and was thinking of installing it in my new truck. i will be using my stock HU in a 2013 silverado (non bose) i want to keep it oem due to the navigation, onstar, ipod features etc... I have a cheaper LOC from a previous car and a Autotek 7007 4 channel EQ would it be ok to run the LOC into my EQ to get a clean signal or would i be better off running a all in one unit like a Audiocontrol LC6 or similar? also if anyone has experience with these trucks what would be the best location to get my signal to the LOC from doors or behind stock HU? trying to keep the harnesses intact if i can...

Go behind the deck. Also a processor is the best way even tho the other way will work
