stock head unit?

hi guys, I´ve a jeep grand cherokee limited 2002, they come with infinity audio sysytem, and I´ve bought two pioneers 12" tsw3001d4 and a I have enough power to run them, and I´ve also bought and 4 channel amplifier, but know Im out of cash, I don´t have cash to buy an aftermarket headunit, but I can´t wait to install the systyem in my car, should I wait until I get a headunit? Is it that bad to add an adapter to the headunit to plug the amp? Ill appreciate the help
