i have 2008 z71 crew cab.
I am replacing my front door speakers with polk dbs and hooking them up to a amp.
My rear door speakers i am replacing with some alpines rated 80rms a piece, letting them stay on my head unit.
I want to leave my stock head unit in so i bought the pac adapter so i can run my rcas and remote.
I know stock that the front speakers are a lot louder then the rear even when you try to fade the power to the rear, i guess there just isn't a lot of power going to rear speakers?
My question is can i bridge my stock head unit and send all the power to the rear 2 speakers, or can i cut the wires that are going to front speakers and hook them to the rear. Like take left front speaker wires and cut the rear left speaker wires and splice the left front into left rear. It seems like the power is not equal to all 4 speakers but i am eliminating my front speakers anyway because they are going on my amp. so basically my question is how to get all the power from my stock head unit to power just the 2 rear speakers.
