Stock Bose Speaks???

MY TRUCK has the bose system and im adddin a pioneer z2 and im wonderin if i should replace the speakers with these infinity kappa perfect components and infinity reference in the rear doors, i also got a phoenix gold that shoots 75 watts at 4 channels, im curious if this system will beat stock as far as speakers go, just heard the bose were suppose to be pretty respectable , THANKS

i was listening to them in an acura today.. They sound like.. a mummy. dead and droopy. Deaden the doors and get the perfects if thats what you want, it will kill the bose system FA SHIZ

The Bose systems are good for a factory setup but pale in comparison to a real set of speakers with real amps behind them. The Bose systems are not really compatible with anything aftermarket so you'll probably have to ditch them to run the new HU. The Bose speakers are cheap. They use a ton of EQ to get them to sound pleasing. Lots of psychoacoustics used to make it seem like you are hearing sounds that aren't actually able to be reproduced by the speakers.
