Stock audio question

I have a question as to what's the best option for me to convert my stock high/low level to RCA's. I'm installing a system here in the the next few weeks and don't want to use line level inputs. What are my options to convert line level besides the 3sixty.1 and LC6i that are solid converters. I am using front speakers and sub off a 5 channel amp bridged for the front comps. Any and all help is very much appreciated in advance.

Hmmm that might be a good option then. Am i right in guessing the main thing I'd gain by going with say the 3sixty.1 or Lc6i is a few crossover options and different things to that effect?

car in sig. 06' Mazda 6 hatch. I'm going with a simple setup, Eclipse 5 channel amp, MB Quart Ref 12" in a sealed box, Hertz Hi-Energy 6.5" comps with the amp bridged for the comps. between 40-60 sq ft of damp pro and then i've got like 10-12sq ft of dyna extreme laying around that can be used as well.

So should I go with the David Navone product for 40 bucks or would it be worth it to wait and get the better unit with crossover options? I mean the comps have a stock x-over which we all know are typically junk and the amp has settings for the sub as far as a hpf and x-over point. The only thing is my deck has no crossover points.

OK last question before i decide. Looking for what you guys would think is the better option:

Option A:

David Navone converter + AC 6xs (friend has one) total cost would be around 180 bucks

Option B:

AC LC6i for the level boost and option of 3 sets of outputs in case i need them for future use or expanding my system. Cost 125 for the LC6i locally.

Option B is cheaper but no x-over, Option A is more expensive but I'd have the use of the 6xs crossover and I can take the 4 inputs from the David Navone uint and convert it up to 8 outputs with the 6xs so I can expand either way. Thoughts?

I don’t understand the x-over situation; the Eclipse 5-ch amplifier dose not have an Hi-pass x-over on it?

Not adjustable, what?

I use the Pac and the Peripheral line converters every day in my installs, with great results

Only cost you 15.00-22.00 each (need two units to maintain fader)

Is the factory Mazda audio system some type of premium \ amplified system?

Yes it's the upgraded Bose system unfortunately. I am removing the stock amp and sub but keeping the stock deck for the 6 disc aspect...and they currently do not make a decent looking kit for the 06+ 6. My main reason I want an external x-over is for the added crossover capabilities and the one on the eclipse amp is crap. I'm just trying to get used to the fact that this will be the first non active setup I've ever ran in any of my vehicles.

I’m not familiar with that Bose System

Dose it have built in x-over and\or equalization points?

Phase shifts? Balanced or volume control issues

Clean Sweep
