stock + amplified speakers?

i'm wiring up my 4 channel to my doors and i was wondering if i kept my factory deck to speaker wires and my amplified wires attached to my speaker would that be any sort of issue? i just want to do it in case of amp failure at least the speakers would still go. so, would it work?

no you'll fry something you need to connect either one or the other. unless you wanna use relay's

you could just run new wires and then if stuff goes south just hook the old radio wires up

disconnect factory wires. use new speaker wires only. you will damage the factory radio or amp or both by connecting them at teh same time. do it right and it won't fail.
