Stinger VS Kinetik.. The Truth?

hmm, I wonder why stinger called out Kinetik instead of powermaster. just a random thought in my head...
Because Powermasters are rated slightly lower than Kinetik already and I think Kinetik has a larger name so its easier to target the big guy.

Well, I am sure Stinger batteries are great, but I do not trust this data even if it was done by a third party since it was paid for by Stinger. That said I wouldn't trust it if it was Kinetik, Powermaster, DEKA, Optima, Batcap or any other company doing it either, if they paid for it there is a good chance of bias.

Because they are direct competitors, both are directed towards car audio.

Powermaster is directed towards the racing scene, they are only recently starting to focus their attention on car audio.

Hey guys, I know Kinetik has a big following on this forum but before I jumped on the bandwagon I wanted to do a little research on batteries before I bought one. I came accross this web page on Stingers site..
http://stingerelectronics.com/thetruth/

From what I can gather, none of the Kinetic batteries make their rated specs. I'm not an expert on batteries or anything so I wanted to get your alls opinions about this. I was leaning towards a Kinetic 2400 but after I saw this I think I am going to get a Stinger SP2150. Let me know what you all think.. Thanks!
Powermaster has a much larger name and has been around a lot longer.
I meant in the car audio world. I had heard of Kinetik before I even got into car audio, I hadn't heard of Powermaster, thats what I meant.

congrats you posted some half-*** specs

the stinger yellow series are definetely not up to Kinetic
but the red are better i feel

stinger yellow

stinger red > kinetic
The comparison was made between the Stinger Yellow Series and the Kinetiks. So if the yellow series is out performing the Kinetiks, I figure the Stinger Red series would be much better. As far as marketing tactics, I don't care how a company markets. If they have a superior product thats what I want.

Your dumb, did you even read this. they compared a SPV70 to a Kinetik HC2400.The SPV70 is what I have in my avatar so clearly the stinger yellow> kinetik

gotcha

i actually sell Stinger and am very well versed on the product

yellow

red > kinetic

i see your set up

it is very nice

1 yellow stinger spv70 is 1/2 the cost of a 2150 red

I sold a pallet of the SPV70s on here new for $75 a peice and a pallet of SP1700s for $125 each, maybe I should have saved more for myself.

Agreed if a company truly is better than another(proven by tests) I have no issues with it marketing against others its called strategy and being a marketing major, I feel its a fair tactic to use.
