I got one of these. Works fine get the job and just 12 bucks.

I just got something similar except from Wal-Mart. Came out to $15 and some change. At idle, voltage reads around 14.2 and while driving goes into the 14.3 range. 130amp alt on 4ga wire and amp in sig. No big 3 and will switch to some 1/0 & run big 3 when I get the cash. Happy with what it's at now though. We'll see what happens when my Cadence TXA100D comes.

for the voltmeter, you would hook it up to the power input on your amplifier correct?

You can hook them up to your HU. Its all the same voltage no matter where you hook it up.

The Stinger logo is really bright on these things, much brighter than the numbers. I ended up just putting electrical tape over mine. I also installed it behind some tinted plexi.
