I just got mine in Blue in the mail today, having the same issue.. LOL Trying to find a spot in my Chevy 2500HD 4 door.. Can't seem to find any good spots..

Go to your local auto zone buy the faze or auto meter pod and heat it up and mold it to your pillar and install it there.

Mines mouted right on my dash bezel.. At night it was very bright actually so I threw a layer of 20% tint over it and its perfect now... Gotta love that voltage!!

for the voltmeter, you would hook it up to the power input on your amplifier correct?
